One of the things that have really stuck with me since I was very little is my love of dance – especially ballet. I don’t really think about it much, but the stuff I’ve learned from those classes seem a bit like muscle memory now.
The first ballet I ever saw was swan lake – my very first real Barbie doll was a swan princess ballerina one. I think it was this show that made me want to learn ballet in the first place. That and the fact almost all little girls do fall in love with those pretty tutus.
Thanks to all those years of dance classes, the December-January period for me always makes me think of ballet…
